Radish Spread

This is a great way to enjoy those crunchy red vegetables.

Preparation time: 20 min.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 T prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups radishes, finely chopped
1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
salt or celery salt


 

Directions

  1. Beat cream cheese, butter, horseradish, and worcestershire with an electric mixer until smooth.
  2. Stir in radishes and onions until well distributed.
  3. Season to taste with salt.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours; bring to room temp before serving.
  5. Serve with crackers.

Jimmy Hudson says to watch out for sweet potatoes in the fall, plus he will bring okra and Jerusalem artichokes to the next market. Polly from Polly Janes Pickles and Jams has a unique thing going in that she uses vegetables purchased from NFM vendors to make her products.
