The 2012 Season starts Sunday, May 6 in which we welcome to our new market manager, Robin Kempfer.  During the first market we will be having a Cinco de Mayo celebration with a Pinata Party event.

NFM Looking for Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to help make this season a success.  We need help with:

• Newsletter: Write a story about a vendor (300-400 words), do a market report, take photos at the market, or submit recipes of in-season produce.
• Setup/Tear Down: Set up and/or take down the NFM info booth tent, community tent, chairs, plastic tables, signs, and garbage cans.
• Staff the Info Booth: Interact with shoppers, help with the Quest program (food stamps), make coffee, and maintain supplies.
• Special Events: These are special events at the market (like the one-pot-cookoff!). Help with setup, during the event, write announcements, or even help organize.
• Website and Social Media: Help maintain the website, take care of this facebook page, or post the newsletter on our website through word press.
